Here are the best baby shower party games to play at co-ed showers.

Co-ed baby showers are a growing trend.  It makes sense, if you are throwing a party in celebration of a new life, you should honour both of the new parents, or parents-to-be.  Co-ed baby showers are fun when you incorporate some co-ed competitiveness. 

Let Daddy Pretend to be Mommy

This is a great party game for the guys to play.  Have all of the men sit on the ground in a line and give them a baby doll (this can be a plastic baby doll or even a balloon to keep costs down) who, of course, has a poopy diaper.  The poopy diaper can be created by crushing chocolate in the diaper, make sure you smear some on the baby’s bottom.  Give them all of the supplies that they need to change the poopy diaper and announce that it is a race.  On your marks, get set, go!  The ladies will have a great time watching their husbands get chocolate all over their hands and making disgusted faces!

Bob for Pacifiers

In this party game you’ll change the good old fashioned bob for apples, to bob for pacifiers!  Fill up a sink, large bucket, or punch bowl with cold water, blind fold guests one at a time, and instruct them to keep their hands behind their backs while they dip their faces into the water and try to catch a pacifier with their teeth.  The winner is the person who can get the most pacifiers in 3 minutes.

 Chugging Contest

Help the guys take a trip down memory lane…back to their college or party years.  Only this time the chugging contests do not involve beer, rather there is a slight twist.  Give the men each a baby bottle filled with juice, punch, pop or milk, and…on your marks, get set, GO!  It’s a race to see who can chug the contents of the baby bottle the fastest!  This game is a lot of fun.  It helps to get the men involved, and may even bring out some of their competitiveness.  Reward the fastest gulper with a glass of milk!

Poopy Diaper Toss

This game is sure to get the party started!  Divide the guests into two teams: men against women is always fun.  Have each team toss poopy diapers (that you prepared with mustard or chocolate bars) at a garbage can that is about 4 feet away from them.  Make sure each team member has had a chance to toss 2 diapers at the pail; once everyone has tossed twice, count the number of diapers that actually made it into the pail.  The team that scored the highest number of diaper goals wins!

Dinner Party?

Separate your guests into pairs, ideally pair up a girl and a guy together.  Each pair should sit in chairs facing each other.  Blindfold the female team mate and give her a bowl of baby food, applesauce or pudding and a small spoon.  Make sure you put a bib on the male team-mate and have the blindfolded team-mate feed her male partner.  In this game it is hard to pick a winner; it is more just for fun and laughs.  Make sure you have your camera ready to take pictures of the men’s faces once the feeding is finished.
